- Easy-to-Use Remote Control
Tethered hand remote always keeps complete control right at your fingertips. The oversized function keys make using your remote simple and easy eliminating the confusion of complicated operation.
- Automatic Underbed Safety Light
Empowered with a motion sensor that detects when you are about to exit the bed and automatically illuminates an LED safety light, providing safety & guidance in the middle of the night.

The Independence® is equipped with two USB power outlets, one on either side of the base of the bed, for charging those smart devices that have become so essential in our daily lives.
Cushioned handrails can be adjusted to be raised, lowered, or removed to provide additional support.
The mattress has a 6"" profile: 3"" of premium cool gel memory foam at the top of the mattress transitions to a thick 3"" layer of high density supportive polyurethane foam at the base of the mattress.
For individuals 5'6" (167 cm) and shorter, we recommend the Twin size.
