Homepage > Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter >

A hydrophilic intermittent catheter is a urinary catheter designed for periodic self-catheterization. It features a special hydrophilic coating that becomes slippery when activated with water, reducing friction during insertion and removal. This minimizes urethral trauma, increases comfort, and lowers the risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs). These catheters are single-use and come in male, female, and pediatric versions, often in sterile packaging for convenience and hygiene.
