The Assure® Lance Plus Safety Lancet has a hidden needle construction and automatic after-use lockout designed to reduce the risk of needlestick accidents and cross-contamination. Needlestick accidents increase the risk of blood borne virus transmission and the stress experienced by the affected healthcare professional can be enormous. The intuitive design of the safety lancet is intended to increase ease of use, while the smooth, tri-bevel needle is designed to maximize resident comfort.
